Join us at Salt of the Earth in Chestnut Ridge, NY for a magical sound bath inside an enchanted and thoroughly healing salt cave. At Salt of the Earth, you will be surrounded by thousands of pounds of pink Himalayan salt on the walls and floor, in an environment that recreates the microclimate of naturally occurring subterranean salt caves. Breathing in the micron-sized salt particles stimulates an anti-inflammatory response, reducing irritated airways and thinning mucus in the bronchial tubes and lungs. As such, salt cave therapy is beneficial for those suffering with asthma, allergy-related symptoms, bronchitis, COPD and the common cold. Of course, it’s also a wonderful setting to help you relax. Toni, our resident sound healer, will bring her gong, native drum, ocean drum and large metal Tibetan bowl.

5/10 Saturday Mother’s Day Eve 3-6pm mini retreat immersion District Yoga Nyack an extended version of the sold out floating sound healing event which entailed the following Journey into a state of serene bliss carried by the healing frequency of sound bowls, chime & gong while being suspended above the floor in a floating aerial hammock (allowing comfort and surrender even for those that struggle with meditation) as well as for seasoned meditators. But with the addition of Dr. Danielle Taylor What to expect: as you enter the ambient lit, lightly incensed room, filled with ancient High priestess Chanting music you will immediately be put at ease. Toni will start with some light stretching and then Dr. Taylor will offer up liberating breathwork. We will come to standing and Toni will guide easy to follow somatic movement to awaken your hips (seat of Creation) next we will drum & chant together after a bit of that Dr Taylor will ease us into guided meditation and Toni will follow with sound. You will be guided into the mystery and magic of the feminine and its ability to reignite your sacredness.

Friday Night May 16th Our 3rd Annual Sound Healing Under the Stars at the Beechwood Park Bandshell in Hillsdale (right down the road from the studio).
